Magic realism. Daydreams

Daydreams is a series of oil paintings on canvas created in "Magic realism" style. They are modern conceptual paintings Val Dyshlov exhibited in Europe and USA as a member of Society for Art of Imagination along with H.R. Giger and Ernst Fuchs. One of those is retained in permanent collection of the Phantastichen museum in Vienna, Austria. The characteristic of these paintings are sophisticated palette, imaginative if not surrealistic imagery, clues and riddles splattered in the canvas, hints to fiction characters, mythology and historical inspirations.
